Welcome to my UK yowie page. I started collecting UK Yowies when a friend bought one for me during April 1999.
On opening my first Yowie I found a Short Beaked Echidna. I had just returned from holiday in Australia and until then had not heard of an ‘Echidna’, so when I discovered that the UK Series 1 animals were all from Australia/NZ and that I had just discovered many of these animals for the first time, I just had to get more. I was determined to collect the whole lot.
And thats how the story began.....
